Website Overview
How the full system works from first visit
to pickup
This website is built for two groups: parents and church team members
(staff/volunteers). Parents register once and use one family QR each week. Team members manage records, run the
check-in desk, and monitor attendance in real time.
Parent Side
- Register
once: Add guardian details, children information, allergies, and important notes.
- Get family
access: Sign in to Family Portal any time to view and maintain your household profile.
- Use your QR
pass: Open your family QR and present it at arrival for quick check-in.
- Stay up to
date: Parents can edit family and children details when information changes.
Team Side
- Prepare before
service: Review family records and add new families if needed.
- Run check-in
desk: QR scanner starts first, with manual family code entry as fallback.
- Select children
fast: Team members confirm which children are attending and submit in one flow.
- Track attendance
live: Dashboard and attendance records show who is currently checked in.
Check-In Timeline
- Before service: Families can confirm
details in Family Portal and keep QR ready.
- Desk opens: Team members log in and
open the check-in page with camera scanner enabled.
- Arrival: Parent shows family QR (or
gives family code), team member confirms children, and checks them in.
- During class: Team members see active
check-ins and keep class rosters accurate.
